Body Glove Wins 2011 Transworld Surf Imaginarium
Congrats to team Body Glove on winning the second annual ‘Imaginarium’ photo and video contest. The Body Glove team of Cheyne Magnusson and Alex Gray were on hand with VP of Marketing Scott Daley and directors Greg Browning and Scott Smith to collect the awards on Thursday September 22nd. Body Glove was awarded the prize during a raging party at Transworld Surf Headquarters packed with Body Glove supporters from all around SoCal. Body Glove's video and concept, 8 Bit, was voted by the Transworld Surf readers as the best and their photography was just enough to get them past Reef, Rusty, and Billabong. Congrats to our good friend, Chris Straley, who was awarded the “Best Photography” trophy for his efforts on Reef’s If A Reef Had Eyes project.
Catered by Daphne’s Greek, Primo beer, Kru vodka, and Monster Energy, bodies are still piled up in and around the building this morning. Thanks to all the teams for participating, we will see Body Glove next year when they defend their title as Imaginarium 2011 Champions!
Go to Transworld Surf and to see the winning video, photos and behind the scenes footage for Body Glove's 8-Bit and than you to the readers and the Transworld crew for the inspiration. We are already kicking around ideas for next year.
