McNamara Wins Biggest Wave and Wipeout of the Year

Body Glove congratulates Garrett McNamara for taking home two awards at the Billabong XXL Big Wave Awards on Friday, May 4th at the Grove in Anaheim. McNamara was honored  for riding the biggest wave ever, measured at 78 feet in Nazare, Portugal.  He also took home the Verizon Wipeout of the Year award for tumbling down a massive face at Jaws. These accomplishments further illustrate Garrett McNamara's skill and rightful place among the world's greatest big wave surfers. Garrett McNamara Nominated For Biggest Wave of the Year

Last November off the coast of Portugal, Garrett McNamara arguably rode the biggest wave anyone has ever surfed.  He is now nominated for Ride of the Year and XXL Biggest Wave category at the Billabong XXL Big Wave Awards on May 4th.
