Surf Summit 15- San Jose Del Cabo

I am sure that most of the surf industry is always excited for SIMA's Surf Summit. This year it was again held in San Jose del Cabo. In addition to our Body Glove crew we brought down Jean Michel Cousteau and marine biologist Holly Lohuis to share their passion for ocean conservation with the surf indsutry. In between conferences we had a little time to scuba dive and play around on the waves. Check out our photos of the event:

Body Glove Crew in Cabo!

Last week the Body Glove crew including team riders Jamie O'Brien, Cheyne Magnusson and Justin Quirk were in Cabo for the SIMA Surf Summit. We were able to escape from the resort for a few surf sessions and some crazy nights in town.

Jamie O'Brien Closing Out SIMA Surf Summit

Body Glove's Jamie O'Brien will be closing out the 2011 SIMA Surf Summit. Martin "Pottz" Potter will emcee while Jamie, Mark Healy and Lisa Andersen discuss what its like to live and breathe surfing. Jamie, one of the youngest surfers to ever win Pipe Masters, will talk about what got him in the water and what keeps him there.

The 2011 SIMA Surf Summit brings together all the trendsetters and innovators in the surfing retail world. Brands and retailers meet up in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to talk about the previous years, the coming surf lifestyle landscape and the innovations they want to see in the future. With a little bit of surfing mixed in.

Body Glove's VP of Marketing Scott Daley and Director of Body Glove Entertainment Greg Browning attended Surf Summit on behalf of Body Glove. They will definitley be back with great stories, ideas and maybe even some new friends.
