Body Glove Wins Transworld Imaginarium Back 2 Back Years

Body Glove wins the Transworld Imaginarium for the second consecutive year. After winning the cover of Transworld Surf with exceptional photos, Body Glove finishes up the contest by winning the Readers Choice for best video, The Disappearance.

The Disappearance follows a group of four professional surfers and six filmmakers on what should have been the ultimate surf trip to the jungles of Indonesia but quickly became an excursion into heart-stopping terror. As the group discovers a perfect, secret wave, strange images begin to appear on film. Are they sharks, alligators, or something else? Fear sets in. Accusations fly. By night, unseen evil stirs beyond their campfire’s light. By day, large animal prints are discovered nearby. Members of the crew begin to disappear one by one. As the end of their journey approaches, they realize that what they are filming is not an epic trip but their own descent into unimaginable horror.

It's been a while! I am enjoying summer vacation in Nicaragua - no new retreats til October, yay! I've been getting a lot more waves myself without having to put energy into helping girls improve their surfing skills. Stoked!

My Rusty boards have been working amazingly well and I put together a little video analysis of my top 3 boards with some cool surf footage mixed in.

I've been working over the last two years with a non-profit called Waves of Hope which is run by a couple friends of mine. We've been trying to promote education in the local communities and to lobby the government to green-light the construction of a high school. Currently the only educational opportunity for kids in the area after grade 6 is attending school only on Sundays. We've made a lot of progress. You can check it out here:

Body Glove PR1ME Named Best Wetsuit By Surf Portugal

Body Glove’s PR1ME wetsuit has gone global and the surfers of Portugal are dubbing it the season’s best. Pitted against suits from Billabong, Hurley, O’Neill, Quiksilver, Rip Curl and Xcel, the PR1ME was crowned with top honors.

Surf Portugal found that in this modern time even though all of the wetsuit makers had quality materials, it was the PR1ME’s ease of entry, top of the line EVOflex neoprene and advanced Pyrostretch insulation that sealed the deal.

A big thank you to the surfers and shop owners who tested the suits. Glad we were able to supply you with killer suits!

The north shore of Oahu is a blast this time of year whether the waves are 2 foot or 20 foot. Check out Nate Yeomans and some friends messing around in and out of the surf on the 7 mile miracle. Cheyne and Body Glove Entertainment travel first to Bali then Japan, Mexico and Hawaii. Each stop is broken down into a few short episodes and will be available for free download on the Body Glove iTunes Podcast. You will get fresh episodes on the Friday of every month.

The first surf session is in Bali on a rare right reef. The surfing is intense, but what Cheyne and his buddy Kai learn about Balinese culture is even more intense. Apparently the barrels never end and drinking snake blood makes you powerful.
